Soroptimist Desert Tucson Presents $31,250 in Live Your Dream Awards
At an awards ceremony on February 12, 2026, Soroptimist Desert Tucson awarded $31,250 to 18 area women who are the sole economic support for their families and are continuing their education. There were five Live Your Dream Award winners; 13 women received funding under our Strive to Live Your Dream program.
Since our early days—when we could only provide one award per year—we have significantly expanded the number and size of our awards.
In the past ten years, we’ve raised and distributed over $194,000 to more than 70 remarkable women. On a global scale, Soroptimists collectively awarded $3.1 million last year in Live Your Dream Awards, benefiting almost 2300 women worldwide.
Our Club is so proud to honor these amazing women for their strength and perseverance as they work to finish their education and improve the lives of their families.
